COD of Klongluang Power Plant

After successfully connecting in parallel with the national grid on 4 April 2017, Klongluang (KLU) managed by Klongluang Utilities, a wholly owned subsidiary of EGCO, commenced its COD to supply electricity to the grid on 20 July 2017. KLU, located in Patumthani, is a cogeneration power plant where JERA Power Thailand devoted its full effort to providing OE service to. The plant has an installed capacity of 121 MW (47 MW x 2 blocks) and sells 90 MW electricity output to EGAT based on the 25-year PPAs under the SPP scheme.
